Where in the world is David Davis?

David retired from Metropath in August and moved to Costa Rica. He was an integral part of CSH for many years and held a number of positions, e.g. constitution and bylaws chair, officer elections chair, historian, photographer, and vendor coordinator to name a few. He leaves some very big shoes to fill.

This past spring David was traveling the globe and sharing his wealth of knowledge as he has done many times in the past. This time he worked with histotechs at St. Paul's Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. While he was there there he visited the National Museum and got a picture with Lucy a.k.a. Australopithecus afarensis who lived 3.2 million years ago and changed our understanding of human origins.

Even though David is retired we sense that he will always be helping and sharing his expertise wherever he goes. He is a great humanitarian and inspiration to us all. We wish him all the best in this new chapter of his life!
